I was heading to a vegan restaurant across the street, but stumbled upon this quaint dessert shop and decided to give it a try. I met the owner and her partner, Ron, who were both very friendly. The owner gave me a sample of their ube soft serve, which was delicious with hints of coconut. I ended up ordering the peanut butter shake, which was filled with crispy bits of peanut butter and was absolutely delicious. I can't wait to go back and try more of their offerings. I appreciate small businesses with exceptional service, and will definitely be returning to support them again in the future.

After a long, hot day in Hawaii, my girlfriend and I decided to cool off with something delicious. We stopped by Favorites and realized that we had met one of the owners, Kat, earlier in our trip when we dined at another vegan restaurant above the road from her stand – Vegan City Hawaii – which I also recommend trying. Kat was very personable and recommended that we try the Orange Crush or Peanut Butter S'mores shake. I ordered both, while my girlfriend got the Soft Serve S'mores cup with the Taste of the Day Chocolate Haupia. After placing our order, Kat took care of making our drinks and shared the history of Favorites with us. As our treats were being prepared, we chatted with the co-owners, Ronn and Chat. Both Kat and Ronn embody the aloha spirit of the island culture, as they were both attentive and polite. After chatting with Ronn, Kat finished making our delicious treats for us to enjoy.
