China Gorge and Grace Su, the owner, are landmarks of Hood River. The Chinese food is a great value and always well served. Great place for a meal.

I enjoyed our visit to China Gorge for Father's Day dinner a lot. We ate in the bar, since it happened to be Happy Hour. Our cocktails were very well done, and the bartender/waitress was very nice and super quick and responsive. The pork bun appetizer was the highlight of the meal just delicious. Kung Pao shrimp and chicken was also very good, not as spicy hot as I personally prefer, but the shrimp and chicken were really fresh and flavorful. Sweet and sour soup was also good, more beefy than I'm used to, but flavor was still very nice. Flavor could have been a little stronger, but I must just like my flavors to be more forward, personal preference... Overall, I would go there again in a heartbeat. Hint: Dinner at Happy Hour time is a great bargain.

I absolutely love this restaurant! The meat is top-notch and so tender. The flavors in all of our dishes were exceptional. The only downside is that the portions of meat are quite substantial, like whole chicken thighs, but that's just a matter of personal preference. The location is perfect for travelers since it's located right off the highway, and the service is fast. Despite our big order, our food was ready in just 15 minutes. I highly recommend this place!

The charming restaurant is owned by a pleasant couple who are frequently seen greeting customers at the front entrance. The cuisine is outstanding, with the standout being the hot flower soup which is unparalleled. The beef entrees feature tender, lean cuts and generous servings. Dining here is a guarantee for satisfaction. Additionally, there is RV parking conveniently located across the street.
