It was after the dinner rush hour but the place was still packed. We sat in the lounge. The wait staff was informative and friendly. We ask them to surprise us and it was a wise decision. Looking forward to my next visit.
Our waiter Quinn was friendly and checked in just often enough. The food was delicious. The bread smelled heavenly and was so yummy. They went a little overboard on coating the Ahi Tuna Sashimi with seeds. The soy sauce masked the seed flavor enough, though. The sweet tea was perfect. The bacon was a little well done on the Bacon-Wrapped Scallops. Quinn wanted to make sure I liked the scallops--they were beautiful and perfectly done. I guess not many people pull the bacon off and just eat the scallops! The trout was good too. I'm glad I got the sauce for it, rather than just the lemon. It's a fish that needs sauce. We were offered dessert, which we declined, and after we paid, another waiter walked by carrying coffee. I wish we had been offered coffee! I just didn't even think about it. Oh well, maybe next time.
Bonefish is delicious every time I go. I always start off with the bang bang shrimp simply because you can not eat at bonefish without ordering it. Second I always get a salad. I love the hearts of palm and other toppings that come on their salads. I feel their dressings are always a little to rich. What I order as a main dish always defers but nothing really stands out. Everything is always good but the appetizers and salads usually stick out more to me. I feel like the portions are a little on the small side too. The service is always good and prompt. However, I feel like every time I go they are always training someone new!
Went here for my birthday and had a fabulous time with good friends. Our waiter Quinn was so nice and attentive. The food was fabulous as well. We will definitely be returning.
One of our favorites. Of the Bloomin' Brands restaurant chains, this one is the best. The food is consistent and consistently good, which is important; and the quality and value for the money makes it one of our favorites. You can eat light or indulge; you can spend conservatively or bust the bank as you choose; there is always something new and interesting on the menu; and the seafood is always fresh and prepared well. For a chain, this one breaks the chain mold, and at least for the Hoover restaurant at the Galleria, this one appears to be run like an upscale, privately owned restaurant. The place is clean, the staff is friendly and professional, and I've never had a bad meal here. Always leave here happy.
