We had a wonderful weekend at Limeburners. We stayed with our family for 2 nights and were impressed by the helpful and accommodating service from Rob and his wife. The cozy pub had delicious food and was located in a beautiful setting. We were also pleased to find a fantastic campsite in the back. We will definitely be returning in the future!
We stayed in a camping pod for one night, which was clean and surprisingly spacious. The owners were very welcoming. We had dinner at the pub, where the service was quick and attentive, and the food was delicious. The chips were especially crispy! The atmosphere was lovely, with candlelight and old-world charm.
Just returned from a 1 night stay on the campsite and had a great time. Very warm welcome from the landlord on arrival and showed us to our pitch for the night. Had a fantastic meal in the evening and staff friendly and good service. Food portions and quality were excellent. Pub has real character and oldie world charm. Campsite has everything you need for a couple of nights stay, showers, toilets, washing up areas etc, all kept clean and usable. Would have no issues with recommending and will return when we get the chance in future.
Absolutely vile owner. Like a petulant child if you write a bad review hurls abuse at you instead of maybe looking at how he is going wrong. Believe every bad review on here as they are most certainly true. Tasteless food, rude service, more interested on being on their phones rather than giving an ounce of customer service then they wonder why they have so many bad reviews. Can't wait for the inbox message I'll get after writing this! The man is a bully I'd avoid this place at all costs!!!!
