The Gyro Guys - Houston

Please read carefully.I've been here 5 times. I've been extremely impressed with portions, value, flavor. Etc on 3 of those occasions...Unfortunately the last 2 times, I've been disappointed. 1 time the meat was extremely dry...and they forgot the extra sauce.Previously I will say the serving sizes are awesome, flavorful, moist, delicious, and quickly served.This last time I arrived at opening and there was no one at the store. The first employee arrived 5 past opening...then it took 29 mins to heat up and prepare everything for service.I understand things happen. I still live this place and think thr portions are tremendous. Each gyro, likely has 1lb of meat prior to cooking and maybe 3/4 on serving.

Overall, the food is pretty good here. I really like the combination chicken and gyro meat plate. The tzatziki and hot sauce are both good. Also, the mint lemonade with the fresh mint is delicious. Service is also very good. My only complaint is that it could be slightly cleaner, mostly the bathrooms.

We love to eat here! Food is always fresh and amazing. We ordered plates for catering over 50 people and they had the food hot and ready to go for us. Absolutely Great!!

The inside of the place is not very welcoming, but most awesome places are like that. Their food is amazing. I always order the medium-sized gyro plate. It comes with a generous portion of rice and salad. The lamb is tender, and you have to try the white sauce! A staple on scaresdale!Parking: There is a huge hole in the parking lot, be careful!
