I had the strangest experience at this restaurant ever! The kind customer Lexi was purchasing cupcakes and was told it was buy 2 get one free. When we walked up, she kindly offered us the third cupcake as she couldn't eat all three. At first, I refused, but then thanked her for her generosity. The employee handed her a box, and when she opened it to give us the third cupcake, there were only two inside. She asked if they had wrapped it separately, and the employee claimed they had. However, he later told us we could not have the cupcake. I hope Lexi reads this review, as that cupcake was rightfully hers and they owe her one. Unfortunately, the worker (whose name I didn't catch) probably ended up eating it.

Fabulous cupcakes! Very moist, good flavors and if you go just before closing, they have happy hour pricing!

I think I may have found THE BEST CUPCAKES in HB! Honestly there 's very slim pickens in this area of OC but I 'm happy to have found Frosted Cupcakery through Yelp. Based off their pictures it was exactly the type of cupcakes shop I was looking for. They 're located in the food court at Pacific City so you will have to park in the underground garage but good thing is they validate parking so you get 2 hours free! They weren 't busy when my bf and I went on a Sunday afternoon so we were helped pretty quickly. Although I will say that they 're options were a bit limited due to us going a bit later on in the day next time I 'll make sure to go right when they open! We got 4 cupcakes: Chocolate w/ chocolate frosting, Lemon w/ Cream cheese frosting, Red velvet w/ cream cheese frosting and the carrot cake w/ I believe cream cheese frosting. They did also offer vegan and gluten free options for those that have dietary restrictions but still want to indulge. There was also what they call a Hi top which is basically a mini cupcake if you want the treats without full calories. Honestly both cupcakes I got were so delicious and fresh I could tell they were definitely fresh! Some other shops I 've gone to have been a disappointment with old, dry and hard cupcakes but thats not the case at Frosted Cupcakery! The frosting to cupcake ratio was perfect as well! I 'll definitely be back to try more!

The best cupcakes I've ever had! Creative flavors and tender yummy cake. A real treat! It's a good thing it isn't closer to my house- I'd be there every day.
