If you are in the area and looking for a great place to eat with family, friends, or significant others, this is the place to be! Our server, Heidi, was absolutely amazing. We had a party of 13 and she was able to meet all of our needs while remaining polite the entire time. Kudos to them for their spectacular customer service! The drinks and appetizers were next. I ordered a pineapple margarita, which was a bit too sweet for my taste, so I asked Heidi if she could add a hint of lime. She gave me the option of lime or lemon, and I chose lime, which was a good choice. The drink was delicious and perfectly seasoned. I also ordered the Angel's Plate, which included steak, shrimp, and ground beef in a fried tortilla with a side of Mexican rice. The rice was a bit lacking in flavor, but the tortilla was beautifully crisp and the meat was tender. The prices are reasonable and the service and atmosphere make it all worth it. They offer booth, table, and bar seating options, and if you are looking to order alcoholic beverages, make sure to have your ID ready. Overall, Las Trojas Cantina has earned a spot on my list of top restaurants in Huntsville!
The restaurant was extremely busy, and we had to wait a bit for a table, but the service was excellent and quick. Our food arrived in no time and tasted delicious. I can't wait to go back again. I highly recommend this place for Mexican food when you're in Huntsville. It's definitely worth the trip, even if you're in South Huntsville or Madison.
After I stuck for 30 minutes in traffic in ardmore for a “Festival” and then waited in the line on taco bell, I thought I would have a quick to the way home, I decided to wait to dauen and went to las trojas. within 5 minutes had a margarita and another 10 minutes, had my meal. I'm waiting for taco bell. the line never moved for 5 minutes. many thanks to las trojas for efficient service and margarita that made my life better!
I used to like this place but the prices have sky rocketed. I paid 75 dollars for me, my wife and two children to eat. We all ordered normally, affordable dishes and no alcohol. The food is mediocre and definitely not worth the price. You can get the same quality food for cheaper at other Mexican restaurants in town. I suggest La Alameda.
