The food was amazing. It is an interesting cafeteria style to make your dish or pita with very generous portions. It is a family business restaurant and the people were very friendly. They explained some of the offers I was unfamiliar with. They allowed me to get mixtures of half and half, as I built my plate, so I have to taste many new things. If you like Mediterranean food, try it absolutely.
You can't see it in this picture, but there is a wet landmark placed in this restaurant just moments before this photo. This sign is there because after the ravine on the best falafel-sour-cream-and-purple-cabbage pita that I had in my life (and boy I have a lot), I somehow managed to make the entire remains of my sauce cup on the ground. It splashed everywhere in a radius, as large as Alabama herself, and I fought the urge to start crying at the loss of this delicious, spicy green sauce, while I ran ashamed to get napkins to suck it. Immediately to the excitement I caused, the wonderful people behind the counter came to my help and quickly contained chaos for me. They even asked if they could get me more sauce than if the first cup hadn't done enough damage. I suppose my point is that, although I have embarrassed myself, I would come back here in a heartbeat because not only the staff really friendly, but the food is absolutely wonderful (DO get falafel and acid cream – she gently tangy acid cream is perfect for her tasteful and fresh falafel). From the moment we went through the door until the time we left, these people were authentic welcoming and friendly there. It felt like visiting old friends. You should definitely try this place, and stay for the din-in experience and have a chat with them. Or don't stay and pick up from here, but whatever you do, don't deprive yourself of their food for a moment more.
Had lunch here, the Pita got with gyro meat, feta cheese, Slav and Suac onion and salad with a slightly spicy Harissa sauce. The Pita was really good and filled, the ingredients were all beautiful and fresh and the hover was crisp and we are seasoned. I liked the Harissa who added a nice little spice
This place is a GEM. Everything we tried was AMAZING. The meats are cooking as you order, everything is fresh and put together exactly how you like it, right in front of you. The restaurant is clean, cool, and quiet. The baklava is THE BEST I have ever had. I wish they'd had Coke products, but they do have Pepsi products and Lipton tea. The portions are huge and fully satisfying. The service is prompt and friendly, superbly knowledgeable, and you can TELL that they love what they do. We will be back again and again. Their prices are great, too for less than $9, you get the biggest pita, stuffed with the most AMAZING fillings, that I've ever had. We will be back!
