The most expensive on the list at €38. The style of service is French, so don't expect McDonalds style speed (which we didn't want anyway). There are only three starters and three mains on the menu; and they change regularly. Three of us had starters: gazpacho, in which the soup is served separately In a jug (see pic); and the Banon Provence (a local cheese served with roast apricots). Both were delicious and nicely sized. For mains we tried all three: swordfish, truffle linguini and pork. Again, all were delicious (see pics). The dessert menu (pictured) appeared and we all indulged. Two ice creams and theee chocolate fondants. Al simply divine. We asked for a dessert wine to go with them and had a glass of local vin douce, which was pleasant rather than outstanding. A couple of us followed up with a Tisane and a coffee with an Armagnac for god measure. This is a real gem and a great find. The welcome was warm and service remained attentive throughout. I'd love to be able to come back here again. The bill came to $300 for five of us, which is great value for such exceptional food.
This is a small restaurant in a quaint side street providing excellent quality food from a relatively small menu.
The restaurant is quite small but elegant and simple The service was wonderful. So pleasant and accomodating. Also very helpful and knowledgeable with wine selection.
The husband and wife team that own this restaurant have been trained by some of the best chefs in France. They bring their Michelin Star experience to the daily selection of ingredients from local markets that dictate the limited menu through to the excellent plating and presentation of their craft. The food was exquisite, one of the top two fois gras preparations I have ever had - with salad and apricots, the beef was highest quality and prepared perfectly, the tuna preparation was insanely good, with a light crust preparation. The basil sorbet was out of this world and the chocolate cake was as decadent as it is supposed to be. I cannot recommend this enough. Small restaurant, and when they cook all the food that they purchased for that day that is all. Don't let a limited menu scare you off - it is a sign that they take great care in what they prepare and offer.
Lovely food really good value under the beautiful low arches. Service was great nice beers & wines BUT not for non smokers as the smoke was a problem even outside
