Feedback gevenThe food is great! Don't get me wrong. I was looking forward to some dishes! The reason why I rated this restaurant like this is that we got here at 7pm on a Saturday and the Cali Roll maki was not available. They were out of avocado. In fact, all japanese section was not available. Which they came back to inform me after I switched to the fried maki roll. Neither was the beef broccoli. The lumpia, the soup, calamari and pancit was on the spot! Just bummed I couldn't have the other dishes.
We drove to Sonsing for lunch while on trip from Zambales to Quezon City. Location is good as it is along Govic Hway bypass of Iba, Zambales town proper. Parking is big and secured as it is inside their gates. Restaurant entrance is on the right side of the building—the one in glass door. Indoor ambiance is simple, quite too simple actually, but spacious. They have TV installed as well and music that plays continuously if TV is not on. We ordered one of their signature dish, the Zambalyete—it 's tuna in Bicol Express cook style topped with mango strips. Also got Miki Bihon, Half fried chicken, garlic rice, and Quail Egg Soup. They served the soup first along with the drinks, which is good as for appetizer. Cooking time for the main course did take a lot as we are still waiting even after finishing all the soup. When served, we immediately tried the Zambalyete and wow, it 's one of a kind. I 'm really not much of a fish dish fan but it is delicious. The tuna is diced and cooked well. They managed to remove the 'lansa ' of the fish. Miki bihon is cooked well, balanced seasonings; Fried chicken is quite small on the servings, cooked perfectly as well—crispy on the skin, soft and juicy on the meat. Best paired with banana catsup mixed with soy sauce. Garlic rice is generally good with our ordered 'ulam '. All in all we were full and satisfied. They serve brewed coffee as well, we ordered coffee after being satiated. Coffee is good as well, not too hot too but you can request it to be served extremely hot if instructed. Our total bill for everything is Php2000+ and they accept GCash and BPI transfer as mode of payment aside from cash, but does not accept cards (swiping or tap to pay). I might say it is a little bit on the pricey side but we did not much mind as we were over all satisfied from food to experience. It is worth noting that all the restaurant staffs are friendly and very accomodating even from the order taking process to food serving serving up to billing out. They have comfort rooms as well, their toilet also have bidet. This is definitely for the travelers and family trips that 's on the look for decent food and doesn 't need to worry much for parking and accessibility. I 'll add this one on my maps for my future travels to Zambales.
Friendly staff, great desserts and freshly brewed americano
The place is located right along the main national road, so it is very easily accessible. The food is good. However, even though we reserved ahead to make sure they knew we were arriving as a big group, when we arrived, there was only one person serving us (around 60 people). It took approximately 3 hours for all of us to get served, finishing lunch at 4pm.
Superb Foods Quality Service. I highly recommend this venue. Cool crews
