Feedback gevenWay small cages, Dolphins should have plenty of space, let them free and they will come back voluntarily for food. Feed them at the same time every day and they will come. Tourists can feed them and pay to see healthy, fast and free Dolphins. I regret going there, didn't think it would be so bad
Like other people, I saw how small the enclosures were for the dolphins. For animals that smart, they need space. Such a shame not to respect these animals more.
This place is a shame, i havent visited of course but saw it from far, very dirty and too small for dolphins. These animals should live in the sea, not in a small swimming pool like that
We didn't go, but saw from the bike path above. Small enclosures and men yelling to get the dolphins to jump. It's quite sad, though I understand the attraction. I would never attend a place like this. Those animals are too smart to be so enclosed.
Swimming with the dolphins was only ¥9000. Other places in America are well over $200 ¥20,000) so it's definitely worth the experience! Momo-chan was so cute and very nice! Even the dolphins who weren't working at the time were playing and jumping in the air. Thanks to our kind instructor too. He was patient with my poor Japanese and let me translate to my family. He used a lot of visual ques, so even if you don't speak Japanese you will understand what to do. The other instructors were nice as well. Everyone seems highly trained. Try not to go on a windy day because the waves might push you down. You can bring cameras and phones, but be careful when taking pictures over the water. They provide wet suits for you, but bring swimwear for underneath and a towel! I hope you enjoy Hakata Island! <3
