Japanese bakery offers really well presented food that is pleasing to the eye and stomach - they have a great range of Celebration cakes
Its becoming more popular. The breads are soft, milky and sweeter than the buns we are used to here in Aus. The sausage bread is always a favourite. The soft dinner rolls, are really soft, but just be mindful that they are a little sweeter than the bake at home versions you get from coles/woolworths.
I discovered this bakery while waiting for a beauty appointment. I wanted something to eat quickly before my appointment and decided on a chocolate roll. The roll just melted in my mouth. So delicious. It was just what I needed. They do have other goodies on display including to die for chocolate donuts, pizza and breads. The ladies behind the counter are charming and indeed patient. One customer was holding up everyone giving her money with change out of 5 cent pieces. The ladies just smiled. Definitely worth another visit as there is so much to choose from. You have to come back again and again to try something new each time.
After a hard work out at the gym we found the bakery purely by chance while looking for some lunch. Pre cooked dishes are temptingly displayed and can be heated and eaten in the cafe area or, as we did, bought as a takeaway. Using a supplied tray and tongs the food is selected from its display cabinet and taken to the counter where it is bagged or brought to your table. An extensive choice of Japanese and more westernised food is available. We chose an unusual sweet tasting hotdog and a bacon and pineapple bap, quite unusual but delicious. And back on went those calories! This is a very different bakery but one we will be going back to.
