Many of the sides are made with the fried masa and they do it well. It's a small place but an enjoyable stop. It really felt like a lil Belizean restaurant.
This little Inglewood spot is heavenly! The oxtails and beans, rice, and plantain rank up there with the best I've ever had! My daughter swears by the stew chicken and my wife, usually the harshest food critic, is absolutely in love with the meatballs. She gave me a small bite and while they?re just a tad spicy (but I'm the ultimate lightweight in what's considered spicy so it's pretty light), they?re awesome, came with beans, rice, and plantain. Their potato salad is
Disappointed after a long drive to get there. Just went for dessert and got coconut tart and milk pie, which tasted fake. It tasted like they use lime juice out the bottle and not fresh limes. Also got a bun, which was bland. Try putting some spices in them?just taste like flour water and sugar. The one good thing was the coconut tart. Based on the reviews the stew chicken and rice and beans is good. I?ll give that a chance next time, and will exclude desserts.
Food was good, however I ordered online and when I picked up the food I saw everything was there except the milk cake I ordered. I went back to tell them I ordered a milk cake and they said they ran out so they were gonna refund me for it. Never got the refund. Emailed them later on and they said the same thing again. Still never got the refund. The fact that there was no effort to deliver on what I paid for is what makes this a 2/5. They could have offered to replace it
Eating is delicious. but the customer service is the worst. not the worth.
