Mensa Thi - Ingolstadt

The food has improved significantly since the closure by the lockdown. Every day super alternatives, also vegan and always really sophisticated recipes. In addition, I can hardly be fed as a student, especially in times when Döner already costs almost 7€. Requisit to the trade fair leader!

We strongly advise to come to the weekly 12Ochsengrillfest in the Maibock period. The number of visitors at the Oktoberfest is currently competing with the number of visitors of Mensa THI AG, which is why the Mayor of Munich, Thi Mensa AG, declared war. I know from a safe source that there is an extension in cooperation with Burgerking.

Most people chase so much to the pleasure that they run past him. What Søren Kierkegaard once said is extremely difficult at THI's gourmet restaurant (Theodor-Heuss-Institut), the outdoor area in the best location, in addition to the architecturally appealing C-building complex, invites you to dine. Once entered, it is possible to recognize directly the superior claim of the establishment. Behind the red band, which is solemnly removed daily at 11 a.m., see added pictures, you will find all kinds of delicacies. Whether Château Mouton-Rothschild, White truffles or Beluga-Kaviar: everyone here enjoys it. Especially noteworthy is the SB-theke, short for superior cauliflower. After having experienced this taste experience, I have directly adapted my family name. Famous personalities such as Stalin, James Bond or Rudolf Dallner should once be here. But in the future this gourmet temple will continue to shine, from a reliable source I have already learned that a new branch is planned at Hotel Adlon. I hope the usual high level will come back there too!

The Mensa has a good cut of aesthetics and pragmatics. The food is very delicious, especially because there are often great vegan (and also vegetarian) dishes. An offer that comes to me very much!

Unfortunately I didn't have so much luck with the presentation, tasteful but still a true masterpiece. Earned 5 stars.
