Feedback gevenDuring our first Poel vacation, we fed here twice. The first visit was great, a friendly gentleman served us, the salmon on band noodles with fruity tomato sauce very delicious. We then reserved ourselves for a second time and were disappointed: the operation was quite busy and little friendly and the captain no joy, the fish kicked completely dry, there was no sauce, because the small plucked horse could no longer save here, a few potatoes and broccoli, even all without sauce and taste quite neutral. The second visit has led us not to come back.
The food was good. That's it. Table ordered in winter garden and then we were placed at the entrance because nothing was free in winter garden. Sorry. Then it is frit in the guest room or whatever without sufficient ventilation that the entire clothing now smells like fat, very unsightly. Not back.
The ambience was very appealing and well maintained. Welcome friendly and easy. We took place in the chic conservatory and were quickly served. The food was very lovingly dressed and really delicious. Everything fresh, nothing pappy and the value for money were true. Very recommended!
The Steinhagen Gasthof not only has a good and varied menu, but you can also sit in a very well maintained garden next to the fish pond. And delicious are the dishes, whether fish or meat, definitely. There is also a buffet breakfast (not only for hotel guests) that we missed on Poel.
We had two variants of Dorsch. To the point cooked. The beans as a supplement? Well. But overall a highlight to the other experiences with restaurants on the island.
