Historic tavern...my father-in-law went there in the 1930s!
Did a sip and paint with Lisa and enjoyed some refreshments and some food. Great time with my daughters and friends. Love these paint parties. I'm so glad they are provided locally.
Wonderful stop in the area!!! Lovely atmosphere, great staff. Hit the spot for cool-October lunch after a very late night the day before. We enjoyed the french dip and burgers. Recommend. Fries were crispy and tasty as well
Stopped In for the first time in a while on Sunday for drinks, appetizers, and unwind. Drinks were good although the fruit in the cocktails were forgotten both times which wasn't a big deal. Apps were homemade pork rinds and hotwings both cooked well and were delicious. The problem came in when I downloaded the app for the juke box and transfered cash to play some songs as we wanted to enjoy our selves and thats what juke boxes are for. The place was uncomfortably quiet and anyway. Well first song Zack Bryan a lady not sure if she was the owner or manager came from the back of the bar where a painting class was being held, grabbed the remote and turned off. Had we not just ordered our food we would have left on the spot. We ate our apps and left. We won't be back, I'm assuming the owner must be treating her business like a club house and her painting class was far more important than her patrons unfortunately for us. We will take our business to someplace that wants it.Update: owner sent response and apologies. Also stated she was going to talk to the staff that was painting artwork and shut the jukebox music we paid for off.
