Great food and good service. Lovely atmosphere in this restaurant. Very comfortable. We had the course set menu as part of a spa break and the food was excellent

Stayed at the Mathu Belstead Brook Hotel and dined at their in-house restaurant. Food was lovely and came out piping hot. The only negative was the slowness of the service. Overall, delicious food and friendly staff.

Food great, staff helpful and friendly, but long waits for taking orders, delivery of food and tableware. Staff training desperately required!

We booked a table for one of their Christmas party nights back in March In November it was obvious it wasn’t going to go ahead and confirmed that was the case in December. Despite numerous phone calls and promises from Simon (apparently second in...charge) that we would be refunded our deposits. We still haven’t had a refund! Having worked in a hotel reception myself I know how easy it is to do a refund, but for some reason they just won’t give us our money back!

Although our holiday was cut short due to the Covid lockdown, we really enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable and clean The restaurant was really good for breakfast and dinner Really enjoyed the pool and hot tub Despite Covid, the staff were upbeat and...helpful throughout.
