Fish Tavern - Irakleion

Worst place. the type from the restaurant told us long story how everything is made to house: mama cuts kartoffels every morning, tomato coming from their farm, portions are great and eating is excellent. we had a place on the table and here is the reality. as soon as we give up our order, they forgot about us Greek salat, musaka, lamb chop, grilled jumbo garnel.) 25 minutes later no water at the table, no bread, no eating nothing. while we wait beggars to play tables disturbing music and ask for money. I had to call a waiter and remind him of our order, why this takes so long, at least we should have salat) 10 minutes later they gave us salat and grilled garnel. garne were raw, literally, when I pulled it apart and I had a bite right away, as it was completely raw, that was just disgusting. I called waiter, but he didn't seem to see a problem in it and offered to go back to the kitchen and grill it even more. I guess for another 30 minutes, because this whole situation was completely absurd at that time. we just got up and ran away. Btw parts were small : salat and garnel do not know about other accusations, since we never get a chance to see it, I suppose it would have been a disappointment. free wlan is a lie just doesn't exist. when we went down the road no more than 5 minutes, we found another seafood restaurant opposite the fresh fish market and decided to try it. I explained to host our bad experience in other restaurants and he assured me that he will take care of us. we had great lunch there placed exactly the same order) salat came in 5 minutes after order was placed by garnelen and the rest placed in 15 minutes. eating was great, and we had a nice conversation with our host.

Very disappointed with the quality of the food . A “crab” salad that has no crab but surimi sticks and a frozen pizza to which they added two slices of fresh tomato. The table next to us had asked for grilled chicken and they were suffering cutting it ! I could here their comments also about fish which they have ordered and left more than half because it tasted frozen too. On top of that, over the past 10 days, everywhere a coke is 2 euros and they charged 3.50 ! The only thing about this place is the location. Otherwise it is not worth it!

Worst food of our holiday. Avoid at all costs. Horrendous food, appallingly slow service.

Cold gyros, semifinished pizza, boiled shrimps on the menu photo were peeled but on the plate all unpeeled, cold and really tiny
