We all had a delicious breakfast that included local smoked fish and fruit. In fact, we enjoyed it so much that we stopped back for a truly excellent lunch on the way back. It's a remarkably good restaurant that embraces the fresh and abundant local produce. I highly recommend the Red Top.
Me and my son stopped in for dinner on our way through Iron Bridge and was Very impressed, we had the Whitefish dinner, and burger and fries, both awesome, homemade bread to start, had freshly picked rasberries and whipped cream for dessert, yummy, service was great, very clean. Highly recommend.
We pulled into the Red Top Motor Inn after a rainy drive from Sudbury. We were greeted by a friendly smile and a key to our room. The room was very clean and bright - the bathroom was spotless. The restaurant was amazing. Better than any restaurant in Toronto. We had an amazing appetizer of local salmon gravlax and a main course of delicious homemade pasta. The hosts were very friendly and super accommodating. The bed was extremely comfortable and the next morning our breakfast and coffee were delicious. We will definitely return to the Red Top Motor Inn and tell our friends about this little gem of a place.
Stopped for a quick lunch while travelling. Had some wonderful soup and a really fresh salad. Would have loved to hang around for dinner. An imaginative menu with very reasonable prices. Great service too!
It's not often that you walk into a restaurant and see the tables dressed with white tablecloths. Anywhere. We stopped there for a mid morning break and had something light. A fruit plate that included pomegranates? I wasn't expecting that, particularly in Iron Bridge. Overall, the experience was a pleasant surprise. Others have commented on the portions. I came away with a sense that there was a measure of pride operating here.
