Steam - Isle of Wight

Pre packaged bacon or sausage baps warmed in the panini maker. Service with a scowl. This is somewhere you can get a drink or food if you are stuck whilst waiting for the ferry but it’s not somewhere I’d go by choice.

We stopped at Steam as we were getting on the ferry from.Cowes to Southampton. The hot drinks were nice and the 2 ladies that served us were lovely. Very customer service orientated. Nothing was too much trouble. (Date of visit 30th August) would recommend.

Arrived a little early for the ferry, and popped in for a quick coffee. This was actually one of the better cups of coffee I've had on the island. Quiet waiting area (at least at 8am). Good selection of cakes to keep the kids quiet.

Good tasty coffee, freshly made! Just the thing to wake us all up! Busy thoroughfare near to Red Funnel ferry.

I often come to this restaurant for a coffee and a snack when I take the Redjet and arrive too early for my bus. I appreciate the friendly service and find it to be a nice place to relax and people watch.
