Charterhouse - Islington

I attended a comedy night at this restaurant on the first floor. The bar is spacious and intimate, perfect for comedy shows that last over 2 hours. I heard they also host film and jazz evenings. The drinks are award-winning and the venue itself is beautiful. Definitely worth a visit.

Definitely my favorite spot in town! The service is unpredictable and friendly, the staff even remembers us for future visits and always greets us with a smile!

I highly recommend Charterhouse, it is a fantastic bar located in Smithfields. They serve delicious food and offer a wide selection of beers and spirits. The bar stays open late, has a casual vibe, a late license, and the staff is friendly.

New burger in the city (really they make these precious stones already a past) on the first day in this triangular shape bar, a risk as I had never been here, and loved every piece of it. I fell in love twice, very many paints (the barwife was a bit in order), loved her burger, loved the cocktails and fell for my date, result! The Charterhouse bar has extremely friendly staff, with its dozen young regulars who come in after working hours to relax. They have a big screen where they show all sorts of short films, and sport. Upstairs is their function room, where they religiously organise a jazz night on Tuesdays. The nachos served here are ridiculous. The portions are big enough to feed a giant! At around 6pm many locals from the offices around can be found indulging in the sizeable portions of food!
