It's amazing how many restaurants can't cook a medium rare steak, but these guys are experts. They have tasty drinks and guys desserts as well. Also good to know they have a separate room you can reserve for private events, it seats about 12 comfortably. The ambiance is casual and the aesthetic is kind of generic, but it's still a nice place for a date. You can have an easy conversation as it is fairly quiet.
Brilliant the food was amazingly flavorful!!! The best steak I've had in a long time! The whole staff was friendly especially Sarah I believe her name was! Very consistent across the board when it comes to food, atmosphere, price, and staff!!
The food was terrible. We started out with the Mexican tortilla soup. It tasted like they have poured an entire bottle of chili powder into the soup and there was no other flavor. I love spicy food but this was inedible. The waitress didn't even have the courtesy to take it off the bill after we sent it back. The food was not even good enough for you and consumption. The artichoke served with mayo was probably the most disgusting appetizer I've ever seen in my life. The selection of salad dressings was terrible. And the seafood was cooked horribly. Get all the servers expect 20-28% tips. For incredibly poor service in a high-valued area of Issaquah. I do not recommend this restaurant and I am an avid traveler who eats and restaurants all over the United States. I'm extremely qualified and knowing what's good and bad service and what is the worst food I've ever tasted in my life at a very expensive restaurant. They either need to lower the prices or change the menu but something doesn't match at this place. Happy holidays to all
I’m giving this restaurant 3-stars because the food is excellent. This was our 2nd time going and both women waitresses were unfriendly, and every answer to our questions was either a stern yes or no with no smile. The first time we went there the waitress said we can order appetizers off their happy hour menu which never asked not knowing. The second time we went the other woman said no! and asked if we would like to sit in the bar there then which is so small and crowded that if someone sneezes you would get Covid. Keep in mind the restaurant side was empty with every table open but but a handful. They were not busy at all just talking amongst each other… We live in town but we will stick with JAK’S Steak house whom steaks are excellent with a much friendlier staff that makes you feel wanted, the minute you walk in, and never say’s no to the customer averaging $150. dinner plus a 20% tip for two.
The most underrated restaurant in Gilman village! Doesn't have a long wait as others in the area do. Service is quick and attentive, and food is wonderful! The flatiron steak is perfect, sea bass is amazing, and gnocchi is to die for! Don't forget to order a side of polenta! You won't regret it!
