Brucci's Pizza - Jacksonville

We really enjoy eating at Brucci's, its always good. Buddy and his team are always welcoming with a friendly smile and great attitude. We have been coming here for years, they have even done some catering for us. Good portions for a fair price. Go on in and have a slice!

My wife and I have become regulars at Brucci 's, and I am giving it 5 stars, although it is a split 4/5 decision. 1 The XXL Cheese Pizza is outstanding, very close to genuine New York slices. (We lived our entire lives there, until we retired. We are convinced that this particular pie is different than their regular versions, because the crust is so thin. We get it on Monday nights, as the daily special. 2 Don 't feel the same way about the dinners, because of the so-called Marinara sauce. The sauce has only one flavor note, and that note is 'metallic ' (too acidic? Are they buying canned tomatoes or sauce that is tinny, or are they overcooking it in-house? Either way, they could do so much better, I think. Tempted to bring them a sample of how great sauce tastes, but they must know it already, right? 3 The 'kids ' who work here always are attentive and pleasant. The ambiance is getting shopworn, but I kind of like that in my pizzeria. Good pizza, we order here all the time. But last year or so they are not as nice and even started charging $1 for a packet of ranch.

Great atmosphere, the Sat night we were there they had live music, which really added a lot. The calzone was awesome, stuffed with all the goodness including ricotta cheese. The Italian pizza we got was really flavorful, the crust was thin with a nice bit of thick chewy crust on the edge, just perfect. 3 of us shared a very fresh house salad, it was a great size and delicious. To top it off we had an excellent server, Andy made the meal really special, she was very attentive and she made great suggestions. Really loved this place, will be back!

Artichoke hearts and fresh basil on photography. $7.99 I have visited Italy several times over the years, and I have tasted pizza in most of the great cities Roma, Firenze, Napoli, Torino and Venezia. I can really say that the pizza served here is absolutely delicious and comparable to what can be found in Italy. The pizza slices are generously dimensioned, fresh and inexpensive. The topping options are phenomenal! What an incredibly extensive and diverse selection! Every time I visit a family in Jacksonville, I'm always aware of dining here. Try it out, you cannot be disappointed.
