Stayed a few times in business. Stayed at many hotels in Denmark, but this stands out. Niels and Co. are the nicest people I have met in the hotel world. Everything is delicious and okay here. The eggs for breakfast are made from the bottom with real eggs and nothing from a dunk as most other places. And then there is also a little cream in. The highest recommendation if you are for honest and nice people who are not finer on it than necessary. Thank you for staying there are more in wait.
Great place everything just order both the place the food and very well maintained hotel
The place is a restaurant and hotel Højgaarden in Hjortdal and here the concept is quite banal "keep it simple": Literally fresh ingredients, simple and professional preparation and loving host cabinet. The evening drawer consisted of today's fresh-catchers from Thorupstrand Fiskehus – butter-stegte or freed fillets, fish-frikadellers of freshly caught cod, hand-pelled prawns, pig-frikadellers with homely redbeds from Thorup Naturbrug and, among other things, the delicious pointed cabbage salad. It is perfectly finished with delicious homemade desserts and tea/coffee. It was really understandable enough that there was a full house in the restaurant on this Wednesday evening, for the chef Lotte had with safe hands clearly the battle in the kitchen and buffet. Also the serving was impeccable, and the wine card was extremely simple and the price level unheard low – Chablis from Le Domaine d’Henri or Sancerre from Pascal Joliv to 475 kr. One of the most beautiful places in Denmark. Delicious food, such as fresh curly, with new potatoes and perfect parsley sauce.
