Island Landing - Jarreau

BEST CHICKEN in New Roads. This small café is tiny but definately worth it if you absolutely love roasted chicken, or really delicious dairy. Every time I want to cook Fried Chicken and DONT, I just go over the river and have the best in new roads.

I love coffee every morning. The gentlemen open your door, say good morning and ask how you are before you enter and the staff know your name.

The fried chicken is the best for Excellent service.

The Island Landing has the BEST fried shrimp that I have ever eaten, and I have dined nation wide. Louisiana gulf shrimp are the best, so let's narrow it down to the state; trust me when I tell you that you won't experience better fried shrimp anywhere. It's not a fancy place, however the service was prompt, polite and friendly. If you ever find yourself in False River, don't miss the opportunity to experience the best fried shrimp on Earth!

Always good food . Got to know all the girls that work there. Also friends with the owner,never have had a bad meal..
