Caro Amico Italian Cafe

We live in the area and we were so excited for some authentic pizza close by. We called in for a BBQ pizza and we were told it would take 30—35 minutes. We walked over at 30 minutes and paid for the pizza and waited outside for 35 minutes. I checked in about our order and they had given our pizza away. They offered a refund or a new pizza, we chose to support and keep faith in the local business so we said we would come back in 20 minutes. We walked back after 20 minutes and received a pizza. Caro Amico's is one of the best old-fashioned family Italian restaurants around. Their food and service are consistently outstanding.

I love Caro Amico. It is on a very short list of Portland Southwest favorites. Comfortable, reliable, just what’s needed. Some Sinatra, a negroni, and a Viking and Ceasar. Perfect. Please reopen soon

This is absolutely one of the tastiest place to eat in the area. Whenever I come to this place I am incredibly glad. They preserve their high standard service and the highest level of food they give. You can never go wrong with this place. Highly recommended.

Phenomenal meatballs, shrimp, and cocktails. Had a wonderful negroni. Service was amazing and the outdoor terrace has nice views.
