The lunch specials are spot on, and this place is a must for a low key date night. Recommend the indy 500 roll or the hibachi filet.Kid-friendliness: Open seating and restrooms.
Not just the best sushi, but the best Japanese food I’ve ever had!
Unimpressed with the sushi. For the price, you can get far, far better sushi elsewhere. We had a Spicy Tuna Roll, Dragon Roll and Spider Roll. The spider roll was the only one of the three which was pretty good. Frankly, I've had better Spicy Tuna Rolls and Dragon Rolls from Kroger. Not to mention, it would be half the price at Kroger. I don't think we'll be back anytime soon.
Chicken udon noodle dish was bland and had more onions than noodles. When I asked for a cup of water they said they had no cups and I could buy a plastic bottle of water. Too bad I had already tipped.
The service was very nice and quick. They have this really cool picture on the wall kinda like the street life at night but it doesn't mesh with the rest of the restaurant. When you're looking at the chairs and tables and floor, it's kinda boring. I got the shrimp fried rice with the egg rolls and my boyfriend got the orange chicken with fried rice. The first egg roll wasn't bad, but the second was super salty. The sauce they gave us kind of reminded us of the Chick-fil-A sauce. While the shrimp in the shrimp fried rice was nice sized, the rice was bland without any veggies and hardly any eggs. Super oily as well. The orange chicken was ok. Seemed to be missing something but definitely had a more natural orange flavor with a nice amount of spice. The fried rice with the orange chicken was just like the shrimp fried rice, without the shrimp... obviously. Yet again, lacking in any characteristics of normal fried rice and very oily.Kid-friendliness: There was only one highchair, which is fine if there's only one kid in there. Also, might be wrong here, but I don't recall seeing a changing table in the women's restroom.
