They seated us, took our order and then we waited. OMG, my husband's country fried steak was the size of a dinner plate. (Think of a fish tail... you caught. It only being , but it actually was VERY LARGE ... Hand breaded and oh so delicious! He also had a side of hash browns. They filled his plate. It was so much food that we decided to eat it for breakfast in the morning. I ordered the cowboy hamburger and it too was delicious! If you're ever in the area, make a stop here. You won't be disappointed. (It shares space with Subway .Kid friendliness: The table next to us ordered a side of fries for their child and a salad where they piled on cheese for the little one. If that doesn't say, we'll make something a child will eat... Idk, I thought ? genius!Parking: Lots of places to park. Located next to a hotel, so it's all free. Just make sure you LOCK YOUR VEHICLE
It was great hometown cooking!! We were so happy with our service after being on the road all day. We called ahead and they had all our TO GO's ready for us so we could continue on.
Not sure what Don Henley was singing about. The food was lackluster at best. The waitress was really nice, but the hostess was wearing a shirt that did not cover her gut, which made eating all the more enjoyable.Food: 2/5
Looking for a place to eat while traveling on I-90 ? If you're near Kadoka South Dakota, be sure to stop in at the Sunset Grill. We stopped for breakfast while on vacation and they serve a fairly traditional breakfast menu, but the quality and cost are fantastic. I've traveled that area probably 40 times or more and never stopped. My next trips will include the Sunset Grill if I need a bite to eat. A+ diner.
Hand breaded chicken fry. Very good. Everything else mediocre but not very many people. Hand bread chicken fries anymore. It's a lost art. It was amazingFood: 4/5
