Laverne's Sports - Kailua-Kona

Very nice experience for late night fromm with friends, very nice Vibes live music. The food is delicious as cocktails. There are not so many places around Kona that are open until late in the night. They have a large parking lot on the back, there is also safety through the doors.

An excellent place to have a beer or 5. There is plenty of room, the view is ok, the electrical lines make it difficult to enjoy the ocean view. The service is good, attentive and professional. The beer could be colder, but it is still enjoyable. I tried the Poke and it was delicious. I highly recommend this place. Also, I was able to find parking relatively easy. AND IF YOU LOIKE CHESS, this gentleman may be waiting for you to play with. Mahalo

Laverne's was fantastic. The food was delicious. The service was great. The views...Wow. Having dinner oceanside and eating great food what more could you ask?

Our server and the rest of the staff were very pleasant. Not any fault of theirs, but the service was a little slow because the restaurant seemed understaffed. The food was really good. The beer selection was reasonable. The location is fantastic. Not much more to say really other than a nice pleasant experience.
