Il Teatro - Karlsruhe

If you want to eat qualitatiw high quality, extremely tasty, you should definitely visit this restaurant. the courts are real masterpieces of taste and look.

Yesterday we visited the il teatro and were amazed at the delicious food. my wife liked the intrerior with all the small details. we thank all the team and hope to visit them again soon.

Absolutely unfriendly and rude. we have reserved a specific day for a large group and confirmed the date several times on the phone, only to make them a mistake and the table reserved for the day before. no excuse, nothing. They were... rude and didn't even take care of what we would do with people on a busy Saturday night. they laughed in our faces.

This restaurant is just behind the excellent Hotel Novotel Karlsruhe City. Today on Easter Sunday I decided to go there for lunch and I really wished I hadn't.The place was probably really nice when it first opened but is definitely run-down now. I asked the rather surly waiter for a shrimp cocktail to start, they didn't have it, strange for an Italian restaurant not to have that and even more strange when I asked for mozzarella di bufala instead and was told that they only had normal mozzarella.I settled for salmon carpaccio which was perfectly fine even if the slices of salmon were mere slivers, it's a good thing I wasn't too hungry. I'd had a glass of prosecco before that and wanted a glass of wine which the waiter brought fairly promptly.I then had the most disgusting penne all'amatriciana I've ever had, just a soggy mess instead of al dente which surprised me as the owner is Italian. I wanted another glass of wine and it seemed like the waiter was bothered I was disturbing him as the restaurant was filling up and he was running all over the place.A friend of mine arrived to sit with me and was served promptly as by this time a man who seemed like the owner was lending the waiter a hand.After seeing the dessert on a neighbouring table I decided to pass.You have to go to the till to pay on the way out but there's nowhere to stand so you keep getting knocked off your feet by the other waiter as you're in the way while you wait for the surly one to give you the bill. And talking about the bill, I was just about to put my PIN number in the machine when I noticed that it wasn't my bill and that the waiter had given me someone else's bill for more than double the amount. That obviously annoyed him as when he handed over my receipt he didn't even bother saying thankyou or goodbye.I really wished I'd just stayed in the hotel and eaten my Easter eggs. This evening for sure I'm having dinner in the hotel restaurant which is really nice.

One presuppose, everyone feels the service and eat, so taste different and you like to give it to Ranking. this is the worst restaurant where I have ever eaten. I'm just coming to tripadvisor now and unfortunately you can't get back as far. I was here with friends silvester 2015/2016 eating after a theater visit. Table reservation = forgotten. oper = you can forget, we were awkward as if you liked. eat "will like to make New Year's Special" so extra expensive and then delivered 08/15. noodle from the bag and sauce from the tube. simply cruel. I can't imagine it could be different at any other time. this restaurant has its best time behind it!
