Karratha Chinese Garden Restaurant

Nice quiet setting. We found it extremely expensive for a Chinese feed and the serving were very small. We did complain and they offered us a 10% discount. Wouldn't recommend this restaurant at all.

We were in Karratha for an engagement party with a big group of family and friends. We decided to get pizza and Chinese for everyone for dinner (to accommodate adults and kids) We called ahead and placed our order and were told it would be 25 mins. We arrived at the restaurant to collect our takeaway about 20 minutes after we placed the order. We were told "sorry for the confusion", they read out our phone number and said it would be another 10 mins or so. We sat and waited another half an hour before they finally called our name. Had we not been asked to pay when we first arrived we would have walked out well before then. We weren't happy. We understand sometimes there are delays but waiting over an hour for takeaway Chinese is just ridiculous! To top it off there was no real apology for the delay at the end. We weren't impressed. The food was fine. Such a shame the service wasn't great.

Not a great look for a business when you walk in and it's empty, none the less sat down for a banquet for three. The courses came out fresh and hot, in very fast service, and all the flavours of the dishes on offer worked exceptionally well. Honestly don't understand how the business could have so little support given the quality of the food and outstanding pricing. Not your average Karratha rip-off!!Having said that, the two local boys I was out with had never even been in to try it. They were blown away.

My adult son and I were working in Karratha and got take away Chinese for diner. With Chinese food - we normally fight over who keeps the leftovers for the next day - but not this time. We ate because we we were hungry and threw the rest I think bin. It has really gone down hill from the time we lived in Karratha...

Had lunch there. The so called lunch specials were $18 for a meat dish and rice. We got pork spare ribs and Mongolian chicken, both with fried rice.The fried rice wasnt hot so im assuming its pre made and slightly warmed as needed.The ribs were ok. The chicken dish was horrible - spongy chicken swimming in a gluggy thick gravy.Nothing tasted or looked fresh. Dissapointing as i wonder if the cooks/owners actually cook their own meals like this?? I doubt it. Wont be back.
