Shizenshoku Sunroom さんるーむ アトレ Chuān Qí Diàn

Sunroom is a chain restaurant with multiple locations in the Kanto region, as well as in Sapporo, Nagoya, and Hiroshima. They serve traditional Japanese cuisine, including a vegan Shojin Ryori course. We visited their Kawasaki location, situated within the Atre department store. The vegan course is called Shojin Gozen, with dishes changing according to the seasons. We had the autumn edition, which included dishes such as tempura with seasonal vegetables, soup, and various vegetable supplements. It wasn't the most filling meal, but it was tasty, especially the tempura and the soy meat sandwiched between lotus root slices. I'm looking forward to trying the winter edition of the course. Sunroom is a great place to enjoy affordable and accessible Shojin Ryori. Definitely worth a visit!
