It was so cozy; drinks were good and was surprised that they had authentic Irish menu items. The bartender (or manager? was also so friendly. What a pleasant surprise. I can see this as a go-to pub if I lived around the area. Definitely want to come back next time!
Love this place. As a new resident of Decatur I feel at home everyone I hit the door there! Lively atmosphere and the Guinness is perfect.
Person running food (mostly sitting and playing on her phone) was coughing nonstop without covering her mouth. I was about to leave but stayed because we have been there tons of times and like the place. Well, our food came out carried by coughing girl. Long story short, we got ? sick.
I won't endorse or recommend any Downtown Decatur business until the City Managers address the growing homeless population on Sycamore, Church streets and East Ponce Ave. It is beyond tolerable. I cannot fathom why the DBA has not been vocal about this Sanitary (human waste, food litter, and detritus is adjacent to the Square and Library though Porta potties are within 20 yds and public Nuisance issue. I have been verbally threatened on numerous occasions including tonight. This is a foul and disgusting environment. Every Business owner including: The Dear and Dove, SQ FT, Core Studios, 246, LEON'S, O'Sullivan's, Raging Burrito, SIAM, Sushi Ave, ought to be ashamed of their tolerance of this worsening situation...perhaps they're waiting for ANOTHER woman to be MURDERED (Karen Pierce 12/6/2014 as she walked to her car after dinner w/ friends.
A beer or two before dinner. What a fantastic place for a pint. Amazing atmosphere and atmosphere. It was New Year's Eve at midnight Ireland time, they did the whole celebration. It was great!
