The restaurant is a very dated building, upon entering you're transported back a few decades, so rather nostalgic! We arrived just at the beginning of the lunch buffee. The food was hot with a nice variety of options for a very reasonable price (12.99 I...think). Nicest thing was the limited batter on the chicken balls and prawn options. Staff was fast and efficient.
Chinese restaurant, you can choose to order from the menu or have the buffet at 10.99. We always choose the buffet. They have a very good variety of items to choose from, you will see all of your favorites there, from chicken balls, fried rice,...to sweet and sour spare ribs, wontons, the list goes on. The owners are very friendly, especially the front end staff, do not see the kitchen staff very often to judge. They are always ready to strike up a conversation with you. Lots of seating, very clean and from an unnamed source the kitchen and storage areas are very clean also. Outside looks old and the interior is older style, but the food is very good. Got to eat here as one of the food network stars might say.
My parents and I went down for the buffet the food is really tasty I love the sinapore noodles and sweet and spicy deep fried pork bites
Loved the food, it was true to its name Yummy Yummy... had buffet, great selection, food went fast, Kitchen couldn't keep up ...customers eating it as quickly as it came out. It was a busy night. Wonton soup one of the best I ever had,...spicy pork was not to spicy but very tender, vegetables great color and flavor, noodle dish just YUMMY! Prices reasonable. Owner was friendly... doing all the hosting, serving and taking payments herself, yet didn't miss a beat. Best Chinese food in Kenora!
