They have expanded the restaurant to include a variety of Vietnamese Street food dishes in addition to their beverage selection. I can't remember, the dish we had but it had fried egg rolls and vegetables. The egg roll shelves were really hard and they hurt my mouth when bite into them. The food was not bad; a bit sweet. Looking to try other dishes and see. The drink was very sweet as well. We forgot to ask for less sugar.
Fresh sugarcane juice. I will drive 1 hour just for it. It is very refreshing in summer days. If you are driving back from a hike and kent is on the way, do take a detour and stop by this place for a sip of fresh sugarcane juice. It is inside Great wall shopping mall, opposite Ranch market.
This place has replaced Fire Ice on the corner outside of 99. Service was friendly, and the drink was ready right away. There’s an enormous bin to catch the crushed canes, and they juice them in front of the counter, which was super fun for the kids to watch. Since I was taking my drink home, I opted for “no ice” (I didn’t want it watered down by the time I arrived home). This added $2, BUT the resulting juice was SO sweet, we just added our own ice at home and enjoyed it fresh. Win win!
I'm from Vancouver Canada and every time I come to seattle I visit this place. I must say the sugarcane juice with passion fruit is a must have, it's a killer drink. However on my last visit I ordered the razor clams with green onion and peanuts , the flavour is good but I experienced a lot sands in the clams and it was hard to go down so I would rate it a 2 stars. I hope they will find a way to remove the sand before serving them. Until then it's not recommended.
The drinks are 5 stars, every one of them I 've had has been fantastic. Sometimes I even get two different ones just for myself lol. The food is..not. The rolls are okay, but other items are meh. The banh mi 'pizza ' in particular is terrible. It 's Texas toast topped with what tastes like bologna, mayo, bbq sauce I think? Tastes nothing like banh mi sandwiches and nothing like pizza, but sounded intriguing. I don 't know who this item is for unless it 's a traditional thing? It 's certainly not for customers who like banh mi sandwiches or customers who like pizza.
