Kazuyuki Shiwata Sushi Kuine - Kent

Kazu taught me what amazing sushi was. We wandered into his tiny place one day and had the best sushi we'd ever had. Come to find out he was a true sushi chef and had studied under a master sushi chef in Japan for 7 years. Master Kazu, you'll probably never read this but I hope you are enjoying your much deserved retirement! Thank you so much, I hope you are proud of the joy you brought so many people.

This place has the BEST sushi!!! I drive an hour to pick up and totally worth it! It is a cash only establishment and prices cannot be beat.

I've been consistently coming to Kazu for all my sushi cravings for the last 4 years, and truly CAN'T BELIEVE I haven't left a review. Simple fresh rolls, and excellent nigiri for an unbeatable price. This is my number one recommendation for sushi snobs, like myself. If you're a fan of nigiri, this is the place to go. My only negatives about this establishment are that you have to place your order early in the evening, otherwise you risk the rice running out, at which point Kazu closes the place. I'll be getting my birthday dinner catered from Sushi Kuine for the third year in a row! Can't recommend this place enough.

Owner is rude, place is dirty. They don't take credit cards which makes it hard since I don't carry cash. There is not much variety.
