I most recently had the smoked salmon bagel (pictured) and, upon my first bite, audibly reacted to its tasty goodness. Wifi is free and good enough, but not super strong. There is plenty of seating, inside and out, and there are a few power outlets if you need them.
Nice atmosphere, but horrible food, staff with an attitude. To the attention of the owner: Selling pastry which has gone stale is dishonesty, if you have a supply problem on Sundays, just remove whatever is left from the days before rather than trying to sell old, dried out croissants. I can't comment about your whole staff, but the lady at the counter seemed to be more interested in chatting with her friends at the back of the line rather than focusing on the customer who tries to order. Also she seems to think that wearing a mask properly is not cool, pulling it off the nose is not acceptable.
Today, the same order I made yesterday, coffee and cinnamon roll, cost $1.35 more. I requested a gorgeous cinnamon roll from the display table. Instead, the server grabbed a flattened roll from the delivery bin and stuffed it into a small paper bag, coating the interior of the bag with icing. I asked her why couldn 't I have the displayed roll? Her response, 'then I would have to put another roll out for display '. I asked the person who identified herself as being in charge about my option of selecting the products and the increased cost. The other staff member removed her face mask to tell me, 'It 's just not my day '. The coffee given to me was hand temperature. Later in the day, I called the cafe and asked to speak with Emmanuel. I was told that I must have the wrong number. Maybe the employees could make more $s on unemployment?
We recently went to Java Cafe for lunch. We were a family of six. Between us we ordered 5 different items from their menu. Everyone was satisfied with their choice; everything was freshly prepared and tasty. We couldn’t leave without sampling their very yummy almond croissants which pair so well with their great coffee! There’s ample parking and Covid protocols were evident. Don’t be surprised to see a large number of police cruisers parked outside as this is also a favourite of the local constabulary.
Rude. Unfriendly. More interested in closing early than making 1 more sale. Even though they close at 2p, if you walk in 5 mins before you get stink eye and turned away.Coffee Store Napili is worth the drive.
