It was a Friday night the place was packed and very noisey fortunately we had a reservation. There is a reason this place is popular and it’s because the food is very good. Unfortunately I can’t say that about the service hard to get good staff, said the manager, because of Covid as I had to wait 50 minutes for an entree. I was starving. However when they did arrive the dumplings were delicious and then the Vietnamese pancake was excellent. Definitely worth the wait.
Food tasted like it was days old dry and tasteless. Prawn crackers all broken and tasted stale, some overcooked. Absolute waste of money
Been here many times and love it. Wonderful genuine people and food. Apparently have been around for some 20-30 years and have a loyal customer base. Food is simply delicious and you can ask for recommendations.
We came across this eatery quite by accident as it is not in the main restaurant precinct, although only 100 metres from it. The restaurant is very busy serviced by two very efficient staff. Had we not booked we would not have been able to secure a table. Whilst small in comparison to many other Sandringham restaurants, it is very clean well presented. The food is traditional Vietnamese fresh. We partook of the avocado prawn rice paper rolls, the crunchy sweet potato with tiger shell prawns for the main we shared the rare beef salad. The restaurant permits byo wine is very reasonably priced. Highly recommended now on our must revisit list,
