Phil's Dream Pit - Kingsport

Food was amazing! I had the pulled pork sandwich with the vinegar sauce, hash brown casserole and mac and cheese. All of it was excellent and they give you plenty to eat. The staff and owner were all super courteous and when my MIL forgot her purse there they (we are traveling from out of state) found the room key when looking for identification and called the hotel to let us know she forgot it there. Where were from if you forget something you most likely aren't getting it back lol. Go get you some of the best bbq you'll ever taste and enjoy a great environment with awesome staff.

Very good food and a great atmosphere. There are indoor tables and outdoor tables. My family and I ate outside around 5:30 6:00 PM with a nice breeze and a small rain shower. It was wonderfully refreshing! We had a variety of offerings from a half rack of ribs to pulled pork and chicken. I certainly recommend Phil’s Dream Pit!

Good food, great baked beans, would have enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich much more if they heated the buns. Employees all very friendly and helpful!

5 stars isn't enough. The brisket was described to me as the best in the tri-state and it definitely lived up to the recommendation. The dry rubbed ribs were awesome and so were all the sides. There was no bone or any fat on either meat. Can't wait to come back again!

I was in town for business and found this small BBQ restaurant. Very glad I gave it a try. There were two of us and both sandwiches were great. The sides were also fresh and tasty. I will come back when I am in town.
