Feedback gevenA very charming looking place (with lovely indoor ambience and terrific outdoor seating) with friendly staff. The menu is somewhat limited and the food was very “okay”. The salmon tartare was mediocre (not finely diced, somewhat unappetizing), the shrimp risotto had over cooked shrimp and was generally mediocre in flavor, and the branzino was very good in flavor and preparation. The service lacked refinement it took a long time for the server to bring share plates after delivering our entrees, letting them get cold while we waited and he served other tables first. All in all, it was okay and for $90 per person, there are plenty of other better options, even if this one has charming decor.
I live in the neighborhood, and this is my favorite place to go. Reasonable prices for fine dinning fare. The service of Shime and Daniel is exceptional. If you plan to go, go on Saturday’s when they work!Food: 5/5
Excellent food with a sexy ambiance. Quiet enough to have conversations without being awkwardly dull. The meatballs and beet salad were incredible appetizers. The paparazzo cocktail was impressive. The touches of edible flowers added some flare to the drinks and the service was on point. I will be going back again. Great date night spot and quaint place for group gatherings.
I had a lunch today in this place. The stuff is amazing! The food excellent , portions are big !Everything looks and smell delicious and when you try you don’t have no doubts anymore .I had octopus which is a very picky thing but it was cooked good and as my main I got gnocchi so cheese and tasty !!
Nice, cozy, clean local restaurant.Moderate prices, attentive and fast service.Mediterranean cuisine, nicely decorated venue.I went there today for brunch, portions were good except the burrata appetizer which was a half portion basically.I would like to try their dinner menu before I give 5* to this place.Convenient location, a few steps from the Cathedral of John The Divine.
