Lucky Star

We were disappointed to find that our house chips were very cold and the duck was also cold. It was a very disappointing experience and we will not be ordering from this restaurant again. It was awful.

I ordered from Lucky Star and the food arrived quickly, but it was lacking in flavor and very bland. I will not be ordering from there again.

I would highly recommend avoiding this restaurant at all costs! It seems to have been going downhill for quite some time now, and I wonder if this is the lowest point yet. I no longer see the old owners there, so I believe it must have changed hands. I have a feeling I can guess who the new owner is - a woman, possibly in her mid-30s, with shoulder-length hair in a ponytail, always wearing a red jacket or apron with lucky stars or teddy bears on it. She is rude to her staff, has an arrogant attitude on the phone, and seems to be clueless herself. The food is left piling up on the countertops, waiting to be packed, while the delivery drivers appear stressed and frustrated. The in-store service is just as bad as the food quality, if you can believe it, and they're charging a hefty price for such subpar dishes. I will definitely not be returning. I will be opting for Sharwoods and Uncle Ben's in the future - impeccable service, higher quality food, and much more affordable.

Absolutely terrible new ownership and they have no clue how to run this place they know how to run it into the ground . The new woman boss looks down on the English staff like something she stood in of the floor. Only wants to hire chinese and woman only staff. Who would want to buy food from a place run like this .

They change the ownership now. New owner she very nice and smiling all the time. The food is good portion and gorgeous
