I stayed in Canberra for two days, and Wild Duck was definitely the highlight of my dining experience! The service was excellent, and the food was outstanding. I highly recommend the peppercorn Angus cubes—they are juicy, tender, and packed with flavor!

Really pleasant food and drinks, attentive service, great location. Pleasantly atmospheric and yet not too loud, the conversation is very comfortable. Duck was great, my ocean trout was super easy to ride and the special desert of the day (picture included) was beautifully built and delicious. One of my new favorites.

The Wild Duck Degustation Banquet is worth every dollar. The cook takes you on a journey of his signature dishes and it is not disappointed. Each dish had its own unique taste and the variety of Asian cuisine can really show. The wine pairing was good, but interestingly spaced apart. If you know what wines you want to combine with your favorite dishes on the menu, I would suggest ordering them separately before each dish.

We ordered the wild meal banquet and couldn't be happier! The duck was well-seasoned and quite good. My partner absolutely loved the squid and even took mine! For me, the dumplings were the highlight; they paired perfectly with the dips. The main dishes were quite enjoyable, featuring a nice balance of pork, seafood, and vegetables. The crème brûlée was good, with no complaints, and the caramelized banana was delicious. I would definitely come back again!
