Dairy Queen - Kinmount

This is the slowest fast food restaurant I have ever been to. It took 10 minutes to place my order at the drive-thru and another 15 minutes to pay. I am still waiting to pick up my food.

We drove through Minden and needed a break. We chose the Dairy Queen to get a contract. He made the rest first and was surprised not to find toilet paper I found the men. After I made San's paper, I went out to inform the staff. Your reaction, what do you want to order? Not at all impressive, and if this is how the staff trained, good! We're not gonna stop here.

We waited 27 minutes to get our food at this fast-food restaurant. Despite not typically eating here, we used a gift card and brought our family along with a friend while out of town. The wait for the food felt endless, with nothing but excuses coming from the staff. On a Friday during March break, there were only 3 employees working, leading to delays and frustration. A woman who ordered after us even received her ice cream before us. This experience highlighted the need for better organization and training among the staff.

I visited this DQ location for the first time in 20 years. I was pleased to see that the menu has been updated to offer more contemporary and healthier options. It's a positive change!

As we were passing through Minden we noticed a new DQ. After stopping and ordered the DQ 7$ special we were on our way again. Having stopped at other DQs in the Province this restaurant is rated in the top half against the other DQs....A good lunch for the price.
