Riverbank Cookhouse - Kinmount

This restaurant has closed down. However, other restaurants in Kinmount that are still open include Kinvale Chinese Restaurant, open year-round; The Edgewater Grill, open in the summer; Kinmount Fish and Chips, open in the summer; Shop and Save Subs and Burgers, open year-round; and Bottled Up Frozen, offering grab-and-go frozen meals. Additionally, there is a yogurt truck serving frozen yogurt and real fruit from May to October.

After I worry about looking for a diner who could not accommodate being a vegetarian in a small town, I was pleased to learn that the riverbank cookhouse had not only a Veggie broker, but the server seemed open to prepare something from the menu of scratches if necessary. it is a very small, domestic and dining room. they are served immediately. there is a door that separates the cooking area from the dining area to regulate the climate. when they go at the end of the day, they can run out menu items. my date and I have both our first choice from the menu veggie burger and fish and chips. the service was polite, knowledgeable, friendly and prompt. the house made pommes. the veggieburger was perfectly cooked and the bungalow was fresh. my only wish is that they had a vegetarian engraving for the poutins, so I would have upgraded my pommes. my data enjoyed its two pieces fish and chips. the server/owner has really made us feel at home while traveling and it was very comfortable.

I had a fantastic experience with the fish and chips at this restaurant. It was excellent. I particularly enjoyed the coleslaw. Keep in mind that this place is only open on Saturdays during the summer.

We were in the opposite so decided to go to dinner after kinmount to cookhouse. eating is excellent. we had the fish and chips and a burger. What can I say about the burger? it was the perfect relationship of bungalow. to meat and was incredibly juicy. my man has swung over fish and chips. he loves a very light teig on his fish and was very satisfied with what he got. the fries with both meal times were clearly hand-cut. we would recommend this restaurant to everyone. it is sad that it is not open more often.

Although the restaurant has a dull exterior and a confusing layout (you walk directly into the counter, which leads to the kitchen), it is truly amazing! We tried the 10oz burgers, which were delicious! However, the real standout of the evening was the incredibly friendly and welcoming waiter/owner of the restaurant.
