Feedback gevenStopped in for Schar products since a previous review mentioned them. HUGE selection of dry goods and snacks in the back. Other German brands I’ve never heard of too. Got some sesame crostinis to try. Then as I was checking out I was pleasantly surprised to see 2 gf pastry options in their fresh baked window display. I had a cherry twist of some kind that hit the spot. The other looked like a dried cranberry roll. Though they were in an open display with other gluten items, they were on their own tray. I’m only gluten intolerant so I was willing to risk it, though probably not ideal for celiacs. Products in the back are worth a stop nonetheless.
They have amazing cakes like "Kirsch-Streuselkuchen", "Apfel-Streuselkuchen" and other sweet desserts and on top of that they have a big gluten free variety of packed products in the second room when you enter the shop. :
Nothing in front was gf, but in the back there is a whole shelf of the scary products...
