Bundeshauschen - Königswinter

Nice location on the right side of the Rhine River. Scenic view of the opposite side, with the old West German Parliament Bundeshaus and the Post Tower. Food: classic German style: Sauerbraten, Schnitzel. We enjoyed the chanterelles and the local wine from Oberdollendorf Blöser, Scheurebe,...highly recommended! . The service was perfect!

This place also has a nice outside seating area, offering nice views over the river Rhine. In fact, that 's the main reason why we went here and the main reason why I rated this place as 'very good '. Prices are average. Service was good and...friendly.

Better go there for a drink but not more. The place is simple and nice for having a beer outside next to the river. However, the rest is pretty simple.

Our friends brought us here for dinner. It was a lovely place to sit watching the many boats along the Rhine. It is not a high class restaurant but we found the food to be well cooked and tasty. I had the gypsy schnitzel and my husband the bratwurst sausage - both nice. Excellent glass of local red wine.
