Feedback gevenOh, I’d see them on menus, people around me would order them, but for some reason, even up close they didn’t merit a look-see from my side of the table. That’s changed. For the uninitiated, a pork tenderloin is a sandwich, wherein a boneless pork chop is placed on a counter and hammer until very thin, breaded, deep fried, placed on a burger bun, often served with lettuce, tomato, and mayo.
Edit: We gave Ray’s another try and this time ordered the King instead of the mini/regular we got the last time. The difference is night and day. The pork is still a little bit thin and the breading could stand some seasoning, but overall the King is one of the best in the state.<br/ <br/ (June 2015) My friend and I have recently started a tenderloin blog and Ray's was one of the first places we went to rate. We each order a tenderloin and onion rings, which we have ordered at each of the places we have tried. We were both a little underwhelmed by the tenderloin. It was fine, but the breading was not as well seasoned as some of the others we have tried. It is a nice place to eat, but Ray's tenderloin is no longer one of the top 10 in the state.
Really great food. The tenderloin is the best!I have never eaten anything there that wasn't delicious. Service is always good and employees are pleasant.
Best Breaded Tenderloin. I am from Kokomo and I can atest to the fact that Rays has the best tenderloins ever and Indiana is the only place to get the breaded tenderloin. Every time I come to Kokomo to viset family I buy a bunch of them to bring back home to Gerogia for me and friends.
This is where you get a true Indiana tenderloin, not like the junk you get at Burger King!
