Baan Thai - Kolkata

Had an amazing time in baan Thai! Had a pickup and they were so attentive and brought the food so beautiful. They also threw in a Papaya salad! My family really enjoyed the meal. She often remembered in Thailand. We are happy to try it soon in the restaurant!

The green curry and the papaya salad at Baan Thai is one of the best thai dishes in the city so far.

My favorite Thai restaurant in Kolkata.. coming from Oberoi, fantastic service is expected (and they deliver). The decor is nice (and Thai), seating sections carefully designed (including sit in private sections) and the food impeccable. I am a big fan of their fish preparations, as well as soups and salads. Normally only opens for dinner during weekdays, but with some restoration work in the hotel, is open for lunch these days. Wine collection is nice if you like a drink!

Fantastic place. One of the best Thai restaurants that I have visited. Prices are a bit upwards but it's okay to indulge once in a while if the experience is so good. Repeat visit is due. Am looking forward to it.
