Friends Of Pho - Kolkata

Chinar park has become the hotspot for a lot of popular restaurants including *Friends of pho*. The place has attractive decor and you get the right kinda vibe. It serves Pan Asian and Chinese cuisines. Now let's talk about the dish in frame. Originating from a region in none other than China, Roasted chilli pork has already become my favourite and would love to try again from other famous spots in the city. The pork meat of this particular style is either cooked with several spices followed by stir frying or it is roasted and then cooked in a wok. All in all it's tangy, spicy and overloaded with flavours. However, here i noticed the quantity was a bit less. But a must try for pork lovers! The Thai curry tasted like heaven! The soup was average. The quantity was less in comparison to the price. Considering everything, i would like to recommend this place. You will surely have a nice time here.

The last day that I was sure of the world's existence..<br/ .<br/ .<br/ .<br/ #friendsofpho is basically a club with books and games and food and drinks. It is abided by club rules and allows in only members( just filling up a form, without any charge but with a discount percent on your next visit. <br/ Food is quite good and is charged pretty like any fine dining restaurant.<br/ Something i found the most interesting was the last mouthfreshner- it was a small paan ball dipped in white chocolate, tasty<br/

Really liked the ambience and the food. Although everything seemed a bit pricy. And the food was served after a bit long time period. All together, was a good experience. The food was yum. The staffs were alsp quite helpful

I have been here 3 times but every time I visit it feels it's my first visit n most important every time I am in a great confusion what to order as d food is too good that it creates problems in selecting d dishes.....

Fish Bao very spicy and saucy in taste, 5 , liked by all. Pork har gao I loved personally. Beautiful to look at, and quite juicy in taste. Seafood Khao phad kraphao fried rice was tasty with lots of prawn, many fish and few squid pieces. Have tasted similar seafood fried rice at Chowman or many other places, but anyhow loved by all. Definitely ll try other items from here again. Delivery time was long and although portion size was good. Containers good, but momo sauces provided in ziplock pouches were not sealed, hence oil spills at multiple places. So that's 1 negative point, another negative point is that their food can be less oily which would make them better.
