If you want nice coffee without the premium price, this is the place to go. Here you can find really tasty indon style Soto, rojak, chicken rice. There's also another stall selling Sarawak kolok mee and laksa. A classic coffee shop ambience here
Typical local kopitiam. Good local coffee and a few local Hawker foods available such as Kolomee, sarawak laksa and economical noodles served with fish cakes etc. Will come back again.
Kolo mee for only rm6 in KK? Delicious! Don't missed it. Notes : sorry non halal only.
Sarawak or Kuching laksa is my favourite noodle dish of all time because it is the comfort food that I grew up on here in Kota Kinabalu. This stall serves a very respectable version and in my opinion, even better than the famous laksa at Yee Fung coffee shop at Gaya Street. My lunch today was a large bowl (RM 9) consisting of thin rice vermicelli, shredded chicken, thin beaten egg omelette strips, sliced fish cake, boiled shrimps, tofu puffs, bean sprouts, and finished off with a squeeze of fresh lime and topping of sambal. The laksa gravy has a perfect blend of spiciness, aromatic herbs and subtle tanginess with the light creamy taste of coconut milk.
